What is the best way to store mass amounts of EU. I don't care about the price of it, I just need to store billions of eu.

w/o gregtech, store your EU producing fuels. those will act as EU storage if you have them set up to suppy whatever your generator is as that generator calls for it.
on the post-generation side, all you can do is LOTS of MFSUs.

WITH gregtech, interdimensional energy storage unit . (IDSU/IESU depending on GT version) 1 billion power, and acts the same as an energy tesseract for seperated energy grids. however, that 1 billion is shared by all IDSUs you place. so 1 bill max, but can be distributed wherever and whenever needed. these dont lose thier stored energy if picked up.

if youre outputting from a fusion reactor, its better to store the helium plasma in a tank (railcraft/XC tanks are good, but GT also puts in a 2 million capacity tank (quantum tank) as 1 cell/bucket of plasma is 8192000 EU, making it more practical to do these in tanks instead of storing the EU post generation.
so one quantum tank gives you an EU storage of 16.384*10^12. thats 16 TRILLION, 384 billion EU storage.
as will all GT stuff, this is EXPENSIVE, but probably worth it by the time you can get a fusion reactor self-sustaning.

you can also do these tanks for other fuels, IE biofuel, lava, steam, etc.
deep storage units (MFR) or quantum chests (GT) for coal/coal coke etc. (2 million for each, use the DSU if you can, GT isnt worth it if you have another choice)

Lapatronic energy storage unit. Upgradable to 2 billion EU. Requires 2000 blocks. 40 squared is 1600, so you'll need something between a 40 cubed and 50 cubed area.

And how do you plan to get all that lapis?

Twas just a suggestion. I have no need for such EU storage. (1) It's a waste of resources, (2) there is no challenge in this type of system, design-wise.

Yeah, bee's are a bit OP I've found. I got to alvearies in 5-7 hours and now can mass produce them off my fast working imperial/industrous pair. I think I have 500 jelly and 500 pollen already, allowing me to add two more. Breeding becomes exceedingly simple and reliable once you have a proper number of apiaries to ensure that (a) you are always switching bees in and out and (b) have multiple breeding pairs of the same species. If you can get 4x on more than one pair, your mutation/breeding chances/speed increase exponentially.

It all comes down to math, once again.

Love it.

Yeah, like anything in modded minecraft, the rate of return is geometric/exponential with the aid of automation. Glad to see you having fun with them. I like the alternative gameplay method they provide (e.g., 90% of most materials without the need to go mining/caving). So in essence, you're really a beekeeper in the sense that you just tend to your hives and never venture out of your base.

When you're done with bees, go give Tree-breeding a try. That's also fun!

The fun in minecraft for me isn't mining, nor is it resource gathering.

It's to build systems. Engineer them to perfection and watch them grow. The true definition of an engineer.

I know, as do everyone on this forum...you've said that mantra quite a few times now....
