Hello,

I don't know if this is the correct location for this post. Please forgive If I posted in error.

I am attempting to install Metallurgy 2 for FTB Beta and Magic World. Minecraft when I add the .jar to the mods folder. I believer there is a conflict with Steve's carts. Could someone look at the crash report and verify for me. I didn't think this would be tech support for the mod pack because I am adding a non FTB mod to the pack. Thanks in advance for the help the awesome community may provide.

There is your answer, ID conflict with Steves Carts. You have to manually assign Metallurgy IDs if you want to add it to the pack.

The issue is an ID conflict. The mod you're trying to add adds a block that uses ID 905, which is already taken by a mod in FTB. This can be fixed in one of two ways.

1. Look through the config files, find what uses block 905 and change the ID
2. Install IDresolver and have it do it for you.

There's an issue with IDResolver if you have Gregtech enabled, which is fixed by raising the priority of Gregtech so it can overwrite what it needs to. I think they should have IDResolver in the mod packs by default. They could pre-configure priorities, etc for the default mods in the pack. This would avoid issues like this once people start adding their own mods to the packs. Or have some kind of IDresolver built into the FTB launcher.

I could also just remove Steve's carts. However, I do appreciate what the FTB team is doing so I'll figure how to make this work. Thanks for the replies.
