Error occurred during initialization of VM

I really know very little computer wise but when I try to open my FTB now I am getting an issue with the Java Virtual machine. Just last night a new Java Update came up and I updated it. Ever since I cannot open my game at all. I don't have any idea how to fix it. It says could not reserve enough space for object heap but I have a gaming computer that should have more then enough space. I don't know what to do.

Hi mityaphrodite,

When you open your FTB Launcher, click on "options". Make sure the ram is on 1GB.

I suggest looking into getting 64 bit java, this allows you to run more ram than 1GB.

when i go to java it just lets me download one version how do i get a different version
