Windows .exe Error messgage when trying to intall a ftb mod

hey guys i just downloaded the ftb launcher but when i try to download horizon or any other mod packs it downloads for a little bit then pops up with an error message. no idea what to do to fix this. please help !!

Right, looks like your firewall is stopping FTB from connecting to the download servers, add it to the whitelist and it should work.

I cannot help you with that unfortunately, that is something that will be in your settings on your computer or your antivirus program. While you download the modpack, there is usually a button to turn off the firewall, turn it off while you download, then once it is downloaded, reenable it.
