Error Loading Modpack

Every time I try load an FTB modpack I get the message "Error Loading Modpack," and the modpack stops loading. I recently downloaded the new launcher and the only modpack I have been able to download is Magic Farm. However, this modpack crashed upon completion of the download without showing an error message. It does this every time I open it. I even tried force updating Magic Farm, but was then met with the same message, "Error Downloading Modpack." Note I am using an mac.

I don't think that it's a firewall as I have my firewall off and security preferences set to allow access to all sources.

you can try going into the advanced options page of the settings tab in the launcher and setting "download Location" to the place that's closest to you and try again. this apparently has solved connection issues for some players.

Thanks, I realized the problem. I didn't download the launcher with the code in the news section.
