Windows .exe Error Downloading Modpacks

I manage to reach the last stage of the downloading and then I get an error. Started with Magic Farm but it seems to happening with most packs.

Mod Pack: All, so it seems.
Mod & Version: Again, all.

Can it be repeated: Yep, every time with every pack.

System information:
Processor: AMD E-300 APU
GPU: Radeon HD Graphics 1.30GHz
RAM: 6GB (5.6GB usable)
Type system: 64-bit

Java version 7 update 45 (64-bit) (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
My anti-virus software is AVG.

Having same issue on a Mac trying to download the Direwolf20 1.6.4 modpack. Tried twice. Doesn't make it even halfway through. Don't have the report, but the last lines are red and have to do with Java.

I think mine is also to do with Java, although I'm not extremely technical so I could very well be wrong.
