Actually i do, It's just a lot easier, IF you have a problem with me attempting to help people then i apologize, Just trying to lend a helping hand, Im going to go to other threads and continue trying to help people in need instead of continuing an argument. Have a good day Ashzification.
I'm just trying to give you the same advice that was given to me at one point.
Considering there's a pretty obvious spelling error in all of your posts :p

Do you have Chicago 2? It appears to be online while plain Chicago isn't.

It isn't showing any other options besides auto & Chicago, only the one Chicago server is showing. I tried going into the config file and changing the server location in there and nothing. I've tried every option in this thread and the other ones I've searched through, I'm done. I'll get my fix from Dire's daily videos until the launcher magically starts working like it magically stopped working.....

Quote from my thread regarding issues updating:
"You could tell people to change their ftblaunch.cfg and either add or modify the "downloadServer=" line to either be "Los Angeles" or..."Nottingham""

For those still unsure, this issue is caused by the host new.creeperrepo.net being unavailable to many users around the world. This is a CreeperHost problem outside of FTB's control, and is being worked on, but seeing as this is the third or fourth time we've seen this issue in as many months, i've knocked up a simple work-around.

Firstly its a good idea to make sure you are actually experiencing this particular issue. This part is easy, just visit this link, and see if you get an error. If you do, read on.

For those who know what it means, all you need to is add a hosts entry for new.creeperrepo.net to point to 192.111.138.82 which is the address of the Atlanta mirror.

For those who glossed over for that part, and are running Windows, I've made a simple script that will make that change for you.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tcjiwf7xg8j7ai6/CreeperRepoAtlanta.cmd

Just run the script and it will guide you the rest of the way.

Please remember to run this script again in a few days to undo this fix, answering No to the question it asks, or you may encounter issues later down the track when/if the Atlanta server goes offline.

This one you mean? No, it was about the only thing I didn't try and mainly for the simple fact I don't know exactly what I'd be downloading (call it being paranoid lol)

Believe me when I say, I'm more paranoid than you :p

It's a good link. Viper can be trusted (enough so that he's been helping the launcher team fix some pretty big issues)

I just tried Viper's command program, it didn't work either. Said something to the effect of changes were already detected (I did make sure to un-do all the changes I made trying to fix the problem). I'll post up a link to my most recent paste bin log, http://pastebin.com/kbTrpm3D

I've been trying to get it to log into another server but it always goes back to Chicago in the CMD window.

Ok, go through this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17__CctJokfTCXovBs5YIdRhG39tdZlLMI_Mfq_aMu3k/edit?usp=sharing

Post your console log (again) if it doesn't connect for you.

..........well now I feel stupid lol. I was using the FTBlauncher.exe file I had downloaded several months ago, I downloaded the file again from the FTB site on the off chance the original .exe had somehow gotten corrupted. The new file that downloaded was launcher^FTB_Launcher.exe, so short story made shorter it seems to be working now. This is all of course after uninstalling Java (for the third time this week) and re-installing it.

Anyone else still having issues may want to try downloading that file if they haven't already and try it.

As for everyone's help, thank you very much I do appreciate it.
