Anyone else have issues with Epicraft? I started playing it recently and when I play it for longer than 5 minutes it decides to use all of my RAM. I've got FTB set to a maximum of 4 GB, which is half of my total, and no other modpack has gone over that limit. This one, however, will, without fail, use up 97% of my RAM. I've tried dropping all setting to the lowest, and it doesn't seem to help at all.

Any ideas?

The garbage collection stops working right when you give MC much more than 3GB. Try dropping it down to 2.5-3GB.
Also, your install may have a memory leak that needs fixing.

There's a lot of generation and variables that can cause problems with garbage collection. Garbage collection, if you're unaware is the process of clearing unused data back out of RAM once it's no longer needed. If that breaks, then you keep piling on top of what's already in RAM.

As for other memory leaks, sometimes I've found they're random. My (new) server world was having memory leaks. I stopped using it to go play Wildstar for a bit. Came back a couple weeks later, blew out the server, reinstalled everything. And my memory leaks were gone.

Yeah, unfortunately, that seems to be more a Java problem than a modpack problem, unless one or more of the mods in the pack are particularly poorly-written. Java's VM is a bit...weird.
