Enemy Mob was a player model?

So i am new to FTB but i must say i am enjoying it, if not a little confused.

It got to night time and i saw fighting mobs then i spotted what looked like a player. it had a proper player model and when it got close to me it even had a name "ProGamer5" but it started beating me to pieces.

Is that normal or did i accidently open my game to other or something.

ahh okay, it seemed wierd as it didnt have normal mob behavior. i hit it away and he ran behind a tree and came back out crouching before charging at me again
