I'm trying to feed my mass fab scrap from a chest, but it's too slow. I guess anyway; it's using the scrap at a ridiculous rate. I installed 15 item conduit speed upgrades - more is better, right? - but it doesn't seem to feed the mass fab until I turn it off; then it fills it all in one shot.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Nevermind... I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the lever situated on a different side of the mass fab.

I don't know how fast you are making scrap, but I throttled my mass fab by supplying it only MV (128EU/t) which slows it down enough for a vanilla hopper to keep up.
This is clearly not the edge of the performance envelope you are trying to push, but really there is no point to having the mass fab accept and use scrap faster than you can make it.

Not really - I made a crap ton of it before I started using it, a few silver chest fulls. Still, I'm moving everything away from feeding charcoal to my reactor, and I'm guessing the recyclers will be kicking the scrap out pretty rapidly.

To be clear, I thought what was going on was that the EnderIO pipe was pulling the scrap fast enough and dumping it into the mass fab. Then, while tinkering with it, I noticed that the UU liquid wasn't being pumped out. That connected the dots, and I realized that the only time scrap went in and fluid came out was when the machine was turned off. ATM, I think I can do a short term fix by moving the chest away from the machine one block. I bet the scrap will flow in then.
