Bug EnderIO conduit not pulling from SAG mill

I'm playing with the FTB Presents Direwolf20 1.12 pack, v2.5.0 and I've encountered an interesting issue.
I've set up Refined Storage and if I connect the Refined Storage Conduit (EnderIO) to the SAG Mill (EnderIO), it will not pull items out of the first output slot. I have tried connecting the conduit to different faces and setting those faces to various configurations, and I have also tried different options on the conduit interface, but nothing I have done will cause it to pull that first item.
