So, I am using an ender-thermic pump in overworld to pump out lava lakes, and i noticed a particularly small lake completely filled a Drum from the Extra Utilities mod. I got 256 buckets from what should've had maybe ten buckets of lava in. So i did a test: I made a small lava pond with 6 lava buckets and tried pumping it out with the ender-thermic pump, powered it with a leadstone battery, and the pipe i used was the lowest tier of Ender IO liquid conduits, directly into a Drum... and it completely filled the drum.... what gives?

edit: also forgot to mention that I also tried pumping it into a Thermal Expansion Reinforced Tank and it completely filled that one too (128 buckets)

So the lava never turned to stone?? Never seen this before. It seems to work normally for me in Infinity and DW20 packs, but I have only ever used it in the nether. Might want to report this to the mod author

The Enderthermic pump has a very large range, and it can draw fluids from far away that aren't connected to any nearby fluids. So it might be draining distant lava lakes that you can't see.

Try cheating in a bedrockium drum, and see if it fills that.

Interesting, I think you're right, it was picking up lava from somewhere else i think, because i just tried it again with the bedrock drum, didnt fill it, but it stopped at only 6 buckets, then
started to fill up again after 30 seconds. filled up to 135 buckets. And to clarify, the lava IS turning to stone. It seems like its working as intended! thanks for the help! if i keep getting issues i'll pm the mod author.

Then I bet you hit underground lava pockets. That makes perfect sense. Never even thought of that because it has a very large range. I have yet to have to relocate one in the nether.

yup, the enderthermic pump is a real beast when it comes to pumping liquids, as it has a huge range, which I really love because I really don't feel like constantly moving the whole setup to pump more lava.
