Ender lily seeds will not plant

I have searched the net and i cannot find what i am doing wrong. I have tried ender stone and soil but nothing happens when i right click. Am i missing something?

Ok nothing will plant, not even grass seeds.. bah!

Restarted, seeds plant, still no ender lily

can you place blocks?

check the controls in particular the "use" key it may have been rebound

Got it, a friend put them underground and it worked fine. Thanks guys!
