It might not be the best place to post this, but just wanted to let you people know I have just released a mod I have been using with my own FTB games. It Allows power, redstone and liquid pipes to all exist in a single block, which you can hide behind facades that appear to be any 'normal' block in the game (including mod blocks). This can really neaten up builds and make them more compact. There are also some other cool features, everything is here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1937619-162152-added-ender-io-how-many-pipes-in-one-block/

While I was originally using/developing the mod with the old beta 1.5 packs, I changed my dev to 1.6 and have only just back ported all my changes to 1.5. Any help in testing and/or feedback would be really appreciated. It should work without any config changes etc needed. Just drop the jar in the mods folder.

cheers

Gonna give this a shot, the 1.6.2 version in a custom pack someone I know is working on. May add it to my unhinged instance or another pack I use.

Quick update:
I have just uploaded a new version for 1.6.2 that includes MJ storage blocks and 'large area' electric lights, plus lots of smaller stuff.
The 1.5.2 version now includes the lights, and the storage blocks will be added in the next couple of days. It seems to working very well with the unleashed pack based on user feedback.

Enjoy!

hey,

good mod. presently on a serve without TE which as you know everyone is(i do believe there's a public version out but not an official release) so this works great as i'm always in need of running inter dimension power. red power is good, nice usage of the block structure. wouldn't mind seeing it with a little more logis adaptability. as your still require to vanilla to get the mod tot of that mechanic.

i'm wondering about the speed of thing 1MJ per tick isn't much. meaning you have to build (very slowly) a mass array of things in order for it to work efficiently. do the furnace share power or do you have to connect them all via conduit? i was on your site and in terms of making stuff more balanced. how much more do you want your mod to aspects to be. they aren't cheap and did i mention they run very slow. in comparison to TE which has gone lossless (in the most part) 10% cost of running is fine, adding additional cost is ludicrous.

a better spotlight or tut on how to use the mod would be great. using the red power conduits to gain good logic. how to use the machines. which serve power. no, bevo's isn't the best. the conduit's could be a little bigger. they are particularly hard to click on to being the size that they are.

keep up the good work. good to another mod take the middle ground.

You can change conduit render size in the configs :D
settings {
# Valid values are between 0-1, smallest conduits at 0, largest at 1.
# In SMP, all clients must be using the same value as the server.
D:conduitScale=0.2

I'll just say, even if I haven't yet used this mod (but watched an a few videos): I WANT THIS. This is by far the coolest mod I've seen in awhile. I want it included in Unleashed as default :) This'll make hiding piping SO much easier (which is something I always struggle with). Having multiple conduits/pipes/whathaveyou in one block is just genius. Thanks for making it!

I was skeptical about Ender IO at first, but I installed it into the 1.5.2 modpack I made where I have been running a big project recently. I put it in because it looked interesting and I could but as I had Thermal Expansion and Buildcraft I didn't think I would need it for anything. Then I had one really small specialised job where I thought Ender IO would be optimal so I went into a test world to make sure I understood how to make it work and in about a quarter of an hour I had it all worked out because it is really intuitive and it got the job done. Then I started seeing little jobs all over the place that were just perfect for Ender IO. The thing I value the most is the redstone I think. My project has been very computer craft heavy and Ender IO has been brilliant at making discrete redstone computer control systems for my crazy machines. Its nice to not have to worry if a certain block has a buildcraft facade made for it too. Good job CrazyPants.
