Summary of the problem Ender IO Conduits make ambient noise
Pack Version 1.2.0
What is the bug? When walking across Ender IO conduits (we tested with dense ME, insulated redstone and enhanced energy conduits) other players will hear "dark room noises", AKA the sounds of a nearby unlit area, coming from the player. These sounds cannot be heard by the player who is running over the conduits. Placing conduit facades over the conduits does not affect this issue.
Mod & Version EnderCore-1.10.2-0.4.1.61-beta
EnderIO-1.10.2-3.0.1.142_beta
Link to log file No error log
Is it repeatable? Yes
1) Place ender IO conduits on the ground so they may be run across/over
2) Have another player stand nearby as the first player runs across/over the conduits.
3) Have player who is not running over conduits listen for ambient, "dark room" noises.
Known Fix While there are no fixes I found there are workarounds:
1) Place Ender IO conduits outside of walking areas so they cannot be walked over (vertically, inside of walls, etc.)
2) Bury conduits one block deep so they are not directly stepped on and have a block between them and the player.
