I can always just replace the setup, but I'd like to not have it happen again. I had a simple ender quarry feeding into an ender chest that was powered by a dimensional transceiver from ender IO. All this was in the deep dark. The ender chest feeds into a temporary setup of buildcraft pipes pumping out into a sorting system back on the overworld, which is chunkloaded with a chunkloader.

Unfortunately the chunk that the quarry was in managed to reset itself. I've seen scattered reports of this happening due to several things: quarries, ender chests, and chunkloaders. There's no chunkloader in the deep dark, as that was handled by the quarry.

I'd appreciate any insight.

The enderchest was doing it. Preventable by either using tesseracts instead of enderchests or saving the game properly before exiting(using the menu to save and quit instead of just using the [x] button at the top right.

Was lucky finding this thread, as we had the problem with chunk resetting aswell. We used a Enderchest above the EnderQuarry and Ender IOs Dimensional Transceiver to power it. We changed it, now we use a Dimensional Transceiver above it to send items home and to power the Quarry. But, the chunk reset happend again.

Maybe DimTrans act like Ender Chest in this context?

Does a DimTrans load chunks? (Maybe it would help to put the DimTrans in a chunk beside the Quarry that is never loaded by the ender quarry?)

Any Ideas to get Items to the Overworld and Power to the Quarry without resetting?

Thanks + Best Regards

Luke

Edit: Its in the Deep Dark aswell.

Try a tesseract and see if it still happens. If it does, I would put the blame on the EnderQuarry instead.

Honestly I had similar issues earlier as well(nether Ender-thermic pump kept getting reset) and then people also blamed the EnderStorage mod for the trouble(was using Endertanks). But I rather refused to believe it as I have used the Endertanks everywhere on countless dimensions before and never had issues. So decided to scrap the Enter-thermic Pump instead and behold! No more resets. Went from resetting several times per day, to now having run for months with a good old BC pump+Chickenchunks chunkloader(still with the Endertank).

Rather suspect there is something wrong in the Extra Utilities chunkloading. Seems to be the only thing causing it.
