I currently play on a multiplayer server. I'm kinda into bees, so I wanted to grab some ender ones. I found an end portal, went through, and then discovered that the dragon was dead, there were huge chunks quarried out of the asteroid, and all the bees were gone. The faction who I know is probably responsible for this denies having any bees and I can't get any info out of them. My question is this, do bees spawn on the Gregtech asteroids that occur? About how rare are they if they do spawn?
-Thanks

They do and very rare. Serriously, I'm talking one in... dunno, 50 asteroid clusters?

I sugest an advanced jetpack/nano suit or a very good MPS set-up, also a portal gun a/o link books/books.

Don't forget to hog all the tasty sheldonite you find. It's very easy to identify as it's usually a tiny clump of 1-4(-6) blocks in an asteroid cluster.

it might be worth it to build an ender chest recharged frame machine spaceship for exploring the asteroid clusters - you could include a flat surface for your portal gun, chests for the clusters you find, and a constantly recharging stream of IC2 batteries to fuel your jetpack.

Is the other faction friend or foe? Maybe a raid is in order. (If it's that kind of server, I in no way endorse griefing where it's not allowed.)

Darn, that's what I was expecting :\ Well, thanks anyways.
I can see into your mind and what I see is :"Damn, why does this have to be so hard?"

*falconpunch*!

You're thinking wrong! Flying around looking for asteroids is the thrilling, dangerous kind of fun :). Prepare yourself! Because well, do you know what time it is?!

Yes, that's right...

+1 This is what I was going to suggest just keep going forward and stop at every Asteroid to raid it for sheldonite.
As for the other people lying about not having the bees chances are if they used a quarry it might have destroyed all the bees I think the only bees that the quarry can save is the rocky bees.

I doubt it.

There needs to be a mod that adds a non-flowing, sort of liquid-like.... Space Air.
and that's what the end would be. You can swim around in it but never drown, and go faster than water. Except Greg would have to nerf it. You'd put a compressor in the end with a waterproof pipe sticking out of it. And you'd get space... air.

Or you WOULD drown but you would need to make a waterbreathing potion! Or just have a helmet on.

:D I love making the game harder, it means longer to play!

*grumble* but more rage when u die when you place a lava bucket rather than opening a biomass engine inventory *grumble*

I doubt it.
You doubt what? The quarry destroying the hives is a config option if its on it destroys all hives if its off it saves all hives.
Chances are they have it on the default which makes it so it saves the bees which means they are either lying about the bees or they destroyed them.
However it doesn't matter because with a spaceship you'll eventually find at least 1 hive.

What if someone killed every bee in the End? HUH
