Electrical Engine + Conductive piping problem.

I can't for the life of me get electrical engines to use the conductive pipes to pipe their delicious MJ energy output to my machines, is that intended or am I just too stupid to get it to work?

Make sure you have a wooden conductive pipe connected to the engine.

Make sure you have a wooden pipe and watch out for energy drain over the length of the pipe so make sure to use golden over long distances or even better redstone conduits

Note: If you decide to use Redstone Conduits you don't need a wooden conductive pipe.

A picture would help diagnosing the problem. Here are a few guesses:

- Missing wooden pipe attached to the engine.
- Too long pipe. The EE doesn't provide that much power, and especially stone pipes have large energy loss over long distance. You might be losing all of your energy along the way.
- Broken EU wiring to the engine somewhere. (See if the engine is actually pumping.)
- Connected device has its buffer full or has no work. Some machines won't pull any power if they have no work to do.
- Connected device does not run on BC power. (So many people on my server are trying to power stuff with the wrong type of power.)

Ah, great. Had no idea you had to place a wooden conductive pipe first. Neither did I have any clue redstone conduits existed. Thanks a bunch guys. While we're on the topic of electrical engines, what's that other slot in the electrical engine GUI for that is not for the circuit board? With the fan thing on top of it? Can't seem to find out anything about it on any wiki.
