ehhhh glitch or easter egg?

i was playing on tppi with my friend jac0b150 on his server without command block and plugins we were shooting portals to the moon and shooting the other one on the other and then my portal gun got enchanted and had a description (screenshot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwd3EI5g9jDkYlBIdUJaODVpdFk ) and then i passed it to my friend so he could google traduce it he passed it back to me and it was like that (screenshot: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bwd3EI5g9jDkc2RiNkN4Mlo3cU0 )
a glitch or an easter egg ?

Sorry for the bad English of Mica1124 :/ I hope you can reply why does the portal gun was saying and was enchanted with Bane of Arthropods V. We are waiting for the anwser .
