Edit FTB ModPacks?

I am annoyed with the Gold To Iron Being Taken away, Because it was to OP. So I went to edit the FTB ultimate modpack and opened the file and all I see is logo_ftb,ultimatesplash,version. Where are the Modpacks at, I want to edit them to disallow the backwards transmutations so I can have more fun with FTB.

I want to do this because I can never get a quarry world, I just end up with a void age or Crap-tacular world not good enough for quarrying

Well This Will make things more clear, I directed my FTB files to C:\Users\Kramer\roaming. Kramer is my account.

why would that make things more clearer?

Like whovian said, are you talking about EE3?

The mod packs are in the mods folder: FTB/Ultamite/minecraft/mods
But you would want the configs folder, assuming that you are talking about EE3.

Yes I am talking about EE3, They removed the downward transmutations because of the Teir 5 zombie pigman spawners, because you could get unlimited resources like iron EnderPerls obsidian

Playing the latest version of the Ultimate pack. Works fine for me.

There are some graphical glitches with EE3. You can't see the item in the crafting output slot. But if you click the 'empty' output slot you get the item that is supossed to be crafted
