Edenic Bees stop giving experience

I have them all bred, and to be fair, I have put them in the acclimatizer so I can have them run in a non-jungle biome. Is that the reason they won't give me any more experience, or is there possibly another reason?

You might have accidentally bred out the experience giving gene.

I don't have Endenic's, my Exotics give me XP and hell for a while I had a stable tropical line that gave XP, so yeah you may have removed the trait as it is like any other and can be bred in and out. I don't believe that the acclimatizer will affect any genes other than those control temp\humidity tolerance so that is probably not it.

The Beealyzer should flag up the effect your bees have, yes. I for one never even knew you could get bees that give XP - it would be an effect you breed for specifically. In theory you can have any effect on any species, it's designed to be very flexible like that. It also means that you can easily lose valuable traits if you aren't careful.

Last line on the first tab (the one with working speed\lifespan etc) lists effect the XP one is called explorer.

thanks for the info guys! guess ill just breed them back down into exotic/tropicals and mutate them again.

well, good news. i got lucky and 2 princesses and 3 drones had explorer on the recessive trait, and as of now, ive selectively bred them to the point where 5 of my 8 princesses are full explorer, 2 are explorer dominant, and just 1 is recessive. yay good fortune and good, timely information. thanks again, guys!

Why do people have such a hard time spelling it right? Garden of Eden + ic = Edenic. They have absolutely nothing to do with the End.

bah whatever my spelling is normally pretty good even for oddities such as most mods throw up but that one I will continue to call endenic bees cause I can't be bothered to end the breeding of them since the Exotic's are faster and have the effect
