Easy way to move barrels?

I've got the Chest Transporter mod for moving chests about in an easy but balanced way, however it doesn't work for barrels so I just wondered if there was an easy way to move filled barrels about aside from just un-filling, moving and re-filling again. Thanks.

Portal Gun works on barrels, but depending on where it started and where you move it, sometimes the picture ends up on the opposite side than what you want.

portal gun works great, you just gotta align them correctly. so get it close to where you want it, then set it down, walk around it till you get the picture facing you, then turn so you get it in the right spot.
