I'm making a mod pack for my kids (and maybe I'll share it if I can figure out permission requesting etiquette, etc.). Someone suggested that increasing oregen rates might make things happier for them. I've been reading around and it seems like the COFH Core way of altering oregen might be my only reasonable choice but I was hoping someone might know of something simpler or some way to do it without adding another mod. I just want to straight up increase the frequency of vanilla ores. I have no mods that add ores in my current working list. I don't need to change levels or ranges or anything -- just frequency/density. Any quick and easy suggestions?

My kids want to play every game I do, and Minecraft is one of the few that works well for both co-op play and isn't too adult for little kids. I've tried to get my dad interested too, but I think it's a bit too much for him still.
