Hello, I hope someone can help me.

I run an Unleashed 1.1.7 server and would like to use dynmap. But when I put the .jar for dynmap in the mods folder, the server won't start. I hit "serverstart" and it loads for about half a minute, then the windows just close and that's it. If I remove the .jar and the dynmap folder the server will work just fine.

What can I do to fix this?

Can I have a log of your console when you try to start the server with Dynmap? Pastebin the log please.

What version of dynmap are you trying to run?
Minecraft v1.5.2 with Forge v7.8.0, MCPC-Plus v1.5.2: Dynmap v1.9.2?

The file is called "Dynmap-1.9.2-forge-7.8.1." I have tried other ones though, with the same result. I have no idea what MCPC-Plus is and according to what I found it isn't really needed. I have run dynmap with an earlier version of unleashed just fine as well.

Great :D I've hit startserver several times over and it always just eventually shuts down both windows. So frustrating, plus like I said, it has worked before with an earlier version :-(

I just tested with a fresh 1.1.7 server and the Dynmap-1.9.2-forge-7.8.1.jar and its loads flawlessly. it loads the map from my internet browser too

Ok guys thanks for your help. I just monitored the task manager and I'm afraid my virtual server just doesn't have enough ram to run the plugin. Strange it needs so much more than the server by itself, but I guess I'll have to figure out a way to upgrade my server then... :-(

Damn it allright, that's not it either. I just restarted the server and this time I had plenty of memory left when the windows shut down again :-( Still no idea what the problem is now...

I just checked your log but didnt see any java memory errors. Actually nothing at all that would warrant a server crash. It just appears to be ending right when dynmap is loading into memory. Have you made sure that you were deleting the dynmap folder with the new version?

Even if that would work, I'd much rather continue my current world without dynmap.
