Details of the issue Go to launch the pack and it immediately crashes giving this code.....

You are using an outdated launcher. You need to get the either curse or new version of the FTB launcher.

i freshly downloaded that. can you link me to the most recent one?

When did you download 1.4.3 and where? Afaik FTB does not give links to it and there is a link to that version it's bug in the pages.

I downloaded it from the FTB softonic download link, at most a week ago

Softonic is known to install adware with executables they are offering. Legacy FTB launcher is still available for download in FTB's front page.

Try changing geometry settings in launcher's advanced options.
