(DW20 V.5) Mystcraft descriptive books no longer working

Got a server hosted at Nitrous Networks running FTB DW20 and updated last night to v5 from the previous version v4.

Everything seemed to run smoothly after changing the twilight forest default to a number above the amount of ages I had visited. However, upon trying out my descriptive books to worlds I had previously made, visited or even newly made ones, I have found that none of them seem to work. I've tried deleting all the data for the worlds from my world folder and deleting all the books from in game and that has not worked. I can use my linking books that are just to places within the world, but links to the nether no longer work AND I cannot seem to enter the nether through my nether portal any more either.

Has anyone seen this issue before or know how to fix this sort of problem?

I seem to have fixed the issue by enabling the nether in my server.properties, which may have suddenly caused an issue or been disabled when I updated to the latest version.

seen 1 report of this issue today, we are still troubleshooting that one just can't find it atm (will link them together when i do)
What dimension is your twilight forest set to?
