DW20 - Tesseracts changed?

Hey Guys,

I've been having a problem lately and I'm not sure why.
With the old Direwofl20 Pack (I'm not sure if the problem is pack-dependant)
I could set up my quarry, and directly hook up an Item tesseract. Have an Item tesseract in my base to pull the items directly out.
Recently it hasnt been working anymore.
I've tried resetting the frequencies, I set the tesseract to ignore redstone, send and receive only but it simply wont transport items.
I used to have Tesseracts connected to all my Multifarms, MFR Harvesters, my treefarm etc, but they simply dont transport items anymore. Oddly enough Liquid and power tesseracts still work.
I've tried setting them directly next to my quarries/farms etc, and I've tried placing a golden transport pipe between.

no luck.

what am I missing?

Are both the source and destination tesseract set the same for public/private? A public-receive tesseract will not connect to a private-send tesseract (and visa versa)

When you tune them in and hit the checkbox, do you get the little liquid-ender coloring on the frequency bar? If you do this means they are connected and should be working. If you don't, then they are not linking - probably because of the public/private setting.

Yes to both questions... if you set a frequency to private I dont think you can see it in public mode at all.

Anything in the console and/or server logs when you assign the frequency or when you try to send items in?

Also, have you tried (just for giggles) slapping an item transport pipe between the quarry (or whatever) and the sending tesseract, and the receiving tesseract and whatever is receiving the items?

yes, both areas chunk loaded... home base and quarry ...
it works perfectly fine when I slap an ender chest on it.... just the item tesseracts dont... I was wondering if you have to use a specific pipe for it... maybe that it only works with a pneumatic tube?

You could try showing some screenshots (setup and GUI), maybe we can find the error there.

try putting a chest next to the tesseract in you base, the tesseract may not see an inventory to put things into.

if you're dumping into a sorting/auto-procesing system check to make sure it is not full

Wait, what version of Minecraft are you on? As far as I know Pneumatic tubes = RP2 = 1.4.7

I missed that. Then why bother trying other transport mechanisms? Something is definitely going wrong, here or he's not setting the tesseracts up right somehow.

Is there a redstone signal on either tesseract? Try setting them to diabled redstone. By default a tesseract will turn OFF is a redstone signal is applied.

I always get caught by a redstone signal somewhere in my build where I forgot to disable it.

#1: Underneath my Multifarm, Tesseract directly connected to the farm, no pipes

#2 My Quarry... with the Ender Chest directly connected it works.... it used to work when I had a tesseract connected, but fails now

#3 My Import in my base...
have a simple Precision Import Bus connected to the tesseract. Identical to the Ender Chest, ender chest works, Tesseract does not...
Ive triple checked the Tesseract settings, and no go.

I don't think Import Busses work with Tesseracts. Try a Interface instead.
I will try it myself when I have the time.

It worked on the previous modpack (1.4.7) but hey... Ill give anything a shot

for AE, do: tesseract -> chest -> fuzzy import bus
At the quarry, I have: tesseract -> BC transport pipe -> quarry

I have this working in FTB Unleashed 1.1.3

(actually i have a diamond pipe between the tesseract and chest, to toss out crap before depositing in chest)
