  • What OS are you running?
  • Windows 7 64bit
  • Are you using minecraft hosting provider or a dedicated/local server not designed for minecraft?
  • Personal desktop
  • What version of FTB are you using? (Dont just say latest tell us the version)
  • launcher version 1.2.0, DW20 v4
  • Did you add any mods to the server pack?
  • Yes, Removed compact solar, Added Mindcrack v7: Advanced solar, Advanced machines, Gregtech, Twilight Forest
  • What are your server specs?
  • i5 3570K, 8gb Ram, 500gb HDD.
  • A good detailed paragraph about the problem
  • This started happening in DW20 v3 on 1/5/13, Nether (lvl-1) average tick rate went up to 50ms causing lag and would spam the console with Warning server cannot keep up, did server time change?. I have no idea what triggers it. Only 2 of us are playing on my server (me and 1 friend). Neither of us has been to the nether in the past 2 weeks yet it still gets increased average tick.
  • At First I thought bats spawning near the nether portal triggered it but we disabled the portal and it still lags.
  • Updating to DW20 v4 on Wednesday 1/9/13 (day after it was released?) Solved the problem (it ususally happened everyday and had to do a daily server restart) But it came back today 1/11/13 with the highest avg tick I've seen so far at 200ms+.

Is there anything in the serverlogfiles why he can't keep up? in general before he starts writing can't keep up something is written in the files that the server is doing.

Off the top of my head when I caught it as it started was When he was using wraithfire and when he was hunting creepers to charge up soul shard. Even after stopping what he was doing the average tick would go up over time even with no one on the server and using save-all to unload chunks.
