DW20 pack Ferrous ingot is used for what?

Can't see what it's used for in NEI and I haven't found through google which mod it's included in.

Redpower adds it, and currently gives it no use. Gregtech uses it, but that's not in the DW20 pack.

Ferrous and shiny ingots are added by Thermal Expansion, not Redpower. Currently they have no use.

Through the ore dictionary they are interchangeable with GregTech nickel and platinum.

No idea.. because of GT-Xycraft incident? or maybe he just want to play SSP like his current SMP..

Whoops my bad - I was thinking of Tungsten. Same deal with that: Currently no use, but GregTech uses it.
