DW20 Lag with pack

A buddy hosts a server, and has no lag on his server when it's the Ultima modpack, but when he isntalled DW20 modpack instead, he is experiencing a ton of lag.

Me on the other hand, am only a player. I am also using the FTB Launcher like he is, and while on his server, have absolutely no lag with either pack. . .nothing but smoothness.

Any suggestions for him as the host who is experiencing the lag?
 
A little bit of information would go a long way...

Which DW20 pack?
What kind of settings does your friend have? How much RAM has he got dedicated in launcher?
What kind of system does he have?

If we are talking about FTB Ultimate and DW20 1.7 there is like x10 in difference in performance requirement.
 
Hey I'm Cik's friend.
Thanks rhn. I increased the amount of RAM from 1GB to 3 for the launcher and it works fine now.
Sometimes the answer can be so simple and you just cant see it.
