DW20 invar

I tried crafting a magmatic engine , according to nei this requires invar ingots and invar gears, but invar is a gregtecb item according to the wiki.
So i tried the recepie specified on the wiki using tin ingots and gears but this didn't work.

Is this meant to be the recipie thats showing up in NEI or is the one using tin the correct one?
I would've thought the tin as the dw modpack doesnt have gregtech

any help would be great

The Tin recipe is the one that comes with thermal expansion, but the Gregtech recipe will also work.

This is the GregTech recipe:
It is the same as the previous recipe Except you use invar ingots instead of tin, and invar gears. You smelt invar dust to get invar ingots.

The invar gear recipe:
http://feed-the-beast.wikia.com/wiki/Invar_Gear

According to the 2.1.6 changelog:
-Changed: Magmatic Engines now require Invar Ingots and Gears instead of Tin.

This means that if you have thermal expansion 2.1.6 or later you will need to use the invar ingot recipe.
