Why don't people use more consistent places like C:\Games\ ? You're not supposed to install anything in downloads folder and absolutely not on the desktop.

It never gave me the option to change location and im bad with computers and such

Do a backup of your world, if you have one, and delete everything related ftb, including the ftb folder from roaming.

Create a folder in either your c drive of the desktop and name it FTB
Now dowload the ftb exe launcher from the feed the beast website and save it to that folder.
Run the lancher and check the options that the install path is the folder you created.

You can still do that in launcher options. Also desktop is still very bad place to install software. Normally you only have shortcuts there, not the actual programs.

Anyway, about the crash again:
Code:
[SEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Caught exception from Waila
java.lang.RuntimeException: Unknown character 'hodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source)
        at com.google.common.eventbus.EventHandler.handleEvent(EventHandler.java:74)
        at com.google.common.eventbus.SynchronizedEventHandler.handleEvent(SynchronizedEventHandler.java:45)
        at com.google.common.eventbus.EventBus.dispatch(EventBus.java:313)
It says Waila there, and something about unknown characters. Where would it look for them, path names or ingame items? If it's paths, i know there are Windows users in different countries where username can contain something else than A..Z characters. This would be case where installing to C:\games\ would help. But if it means ingame name, i don't know then. Try update Waila?
