Not sure how as the packs would have to be rewritten as in mods taken out and to preserve some similarities other mods might be added in their place. That would mean that the user could not join the same servers as the ones using the original version. And even in a perfect world where users would be okay with this it would double the work required to test and make sure that the packs are bug free.
Please do take note of a recent update to the
thread about another Well-Known Member who has a 32bit computer about other packs that he found work well on his 32bit computer. Specifically he names Horizons and Magic Farm 2 run well on his Intel Core 2 duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series (Graphics card) your mileage may vary, but at least those are a few more that you could try.
