A lot of servers will not enable it because it forces users to enable it and lots of people are too lazy to do so. This really sucks :\
It takes time to get used to BoP but there are magic biomes where you can find oblivion hives with enderstone in the overworld. This is a critical component to making soul shards. SO if you want to create a mob spawner without going to the end you need to enable BoP.
Umm not sure if you realize but I did not start this thread... I make my own pack. I installed BoP before FTB used it. I also used MFR and plugins for forestry before FTB used them. You dont need to tell me what to do man I got my minecraft covered.

Honestly they included the file in the launcher. I cant imagine it being an easier to activate it. And I dont believe that would prevent server owners from using it. So honestly I think it was the best way of handling it. I know when i first started using BoP I had to get used to the lack of green slims. It can be quite annoying. Until you realize that MFR has a block called the unifier that converts blue slim balls into green ones. The latest BoP thats out has some improvements then the one in the FTB pack. But I have no complaints about what slow is doing... FTB is by far the best launcher out there and I tend to lean on their ID work and forge installs. With MultiMC this is easy. You can easily import a pack and then edit it to your hearts content. Its really not that hipster lol. Or maybe I am and I had no idea lol I know I dont go dumpster diving lol
oh snap... that m'fr translates the blue to green slime? hmmm... thats good stuff. Sure they by default are interchangeable in recipies, but to finally use green slime tools with TC finally can happen.Honestly they included the file in the launcher. I feel you... but because I have never seen a green slime in a month of playing with natura (where blue slimes are coming from. Before the only time I would see slimes is in the TF laberynths and even they were blue slimes but they regestered as green slimes for drops) and that kind of rarity justifies it for me. Especially since voxelmap does not show slime chunks.
