DW20 5.0.1 block updates not happening.

So apparently something is very wrong with block updates for me. As in they do not happen. Caving for example when a block is placed on/in front of a water source block the already flowing water stays. Same for things like a layer of snow staying there when the block it was resting upon is removed. It's not lag for two reasons: It's SSP and the snow left behind can be harvested. It is also not ghost blocks because I have tried placing new blocks where the broken ones were.

I'm using the newest Optifine(C1 which is compatible with forge 516 IIRC) but I'm going to remove it to see if it fixes it.

Any help would be much appreciated.


E: Annnnnnnnnnd it was Optifine. For some reason it destroys block updates.

It actually started doing this somewhere around Forge #506 with B6. I guess the problem wasn't caught. I've heard that updating to #518 fixes this problem however but I've not had the opportunity to test this yet.

Is C1 compatible with 518?

It didn't crash painfully when I loaded my world so it at least passes the first test.

There is also a new update to Optifine, version C2 which will also take care of the problem if you want to stick with MCForge 516.
