Windows .exe DW20 1.6.4 Stirling Engines Vanish?

I had a quarry running in a mystcraft age and I powered it with 6 Stirling Engines. I was using stone kinesis pipes and it ran just fine for a while. Later I came back and checked on it and they were all gone, and many (but not all) of the kinesis pipes were had also vanished, along with some of the itemducts that I had been using to pump coal the quarry found into them. I figured that the Stone pipes couldn't handle 6 stirling engines worth of MJ, so I upgraded to Quartz Kinesis pipes, and they still disappeared later. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or is this a bug? Thanks.

P.S. Night Vision goggles don't work in the Deep Dark.

Did they explode? It maybe that they were outside the chunk boundary. The night vision problem may be supposed to do that.

Running out of water while still running will cause it to go up to red and eventually explode.

Stirling (stone) engines need water?? I thought only the combustion (iron) engines needed water.

Bah, I'm probably getting my BC engines mixed up again. I blame it on the fact that I haven't used them in so long.
