DRUM-woosh/fire sound? [FTB MONSTER1.1.1]

If I fly over this spot on my server I hear a drum beat, jet woosh noise and then some kind of burning sound?

Kind of assumed meteor but it keeps replaying everytime I go over a specific spot.


Got annoyed and set off a few nukes, the sound seems to be gone. Something underground'?

perhaps a gas pocket that caught fire?

But seriously, it definatly sounds like a gas pocket playing with lava. Never played monster so I cannot say for certain.

It's a gas pocket, I had the same sound when I hit one of those gas pockets, I burned it and the sound looped for like 20 mins, also, don't ever get hit by that gas, if you do, look away from the screen... The nausea effect gave me one bastard of a headache.

Happened to me too, didnt know what it was (used x ray to check out) but now i understand.. I didn't nuked it though, i just world edited it into nothing
