I'm aware of that, but by default it's set to fill mode and nothing happens then. Is this something that was introduced in a 1.5.2 version of whatever mod does it? I play Ultimate

Yes you can't fill buckets with liquid glowstone, redstone and ender in 1.4.7.
 
You also cannot place any Forestry liquid on the ground. So stop asking if you can drink Bee DNA or stuff.
