dragon heart draconic evolution

I'm trying to become familiar with the mod and I killed the ender dragon but I didn't get a dragon heart, and even if I do get the heart it has to be activated with a small explosion i'm assuming that is tnt right. I checked youtube but I can't find anything on the heart

I've only killed the ender dragon once in Infinity and I found the heart at the end portal, just floating above the portal itself.

I'll just say, if you haven't made the book...make the book it has everything explained in it.
