Heya!

Is there any way to use, abuse, employ or otherwise incorporate this devices into anything?

I tried a dartcraft wrench to see if i could take one with me but i cant.

I know they explode, im looking for other uses besides exploding and dragon-healing.

I wonder if one of the wands from thaumic tinkerer could grab one. Neat decoration at least.
 
Portal or Gravity gun maybe??? Don't know but maybe that will work. Never tried to save em, just kill em.
 
If you're making a list of things to try I'd give a transition plane a shot. Might be something in qcraft that'd do the trick too, but you better jump on it before it gets fixed.
 
Those are entities so best i can think of is try using a safari net on them then spawn them by the masses

The Magic Energy Absorber should give EU when placed nearby one. Presumably for this reason you'll find more beacons scattered throughout the asteroid field Gregtech generates in the End, though they're very rare indeed (I've only found one).
 
I dont use gregtech, so no magic generator.

The safari net didnt work, unfortunately, but the portal gun did, and combined with mystcraft portal i moved it to my front yard.

Now i have no idea what to do with it :)

It seems to spontaneously generate fire at its base...

Get a pair of them mounted on a stone block on either side of the entrance to your base. That might look cool.
 
My base is horrible tho, i was *this* close of asking some1 on the forums to come take a look and help me fix it lol!

Ill try tho :)
 
Doesnt look good at all, they dont center properly on blocks and are evry hard to move with the portal gun...

Well that weird. I guess you could make an 'altar' room. Place the dragon egg in the middle on an altar surrounded by the blocks as kind of a monument to slaying the dragon.
