Download Failed Error occurred during downloading the game how to fix that

Ok.. i was playing FTB Unleashed and my friend say me that he saw the new modpack Horizons then i left from Unleashed and go downloading Horizons then in the console was Download Failed
Error occurred during downloading the game and .... i try it after 3 hours, day, couple days and it cant download it

The launcher is not connecting to the minecraft servers to download minecraft itself. Have you ensured that your firewall and antivirus are not blocking the download? Which antivirus and firewall do you use?

Im not using Antivirus or if it's Antivirus Advanced System Care 7

That is probably your problem. Try temporarily disabling it. If that does not help see if the antivirus has an exclusion list and add the launcher folder to it. Be sure to check any boxes that says 'include sub-folders' when you do so it includes all the launcher's folders.

That just leaves where you have the launcher is and where you are trying to install the modpacks. Where are you trying to do this?
