I often have said it - modpacks sure are great, but the sole negative is they have completely ruined the possibility of me ever playing vanilla Minecraft again. For all the reasons people have listed here... it simply is no longer any fun to play vanilla. I've tried, such as when the Ocean Temples came out. I thought - oh that's cool, I'm gonna play a vanilla world. That lasted all of 10 minutes I think. No NEI, no map mods, no nothing! Forget about it!!
