Does a Bioreactor have an input side?

I've been trying to get my Buildcraft pipes to input into a Bioreactor, I've tried top & bottom but that doesn't seem to be working. It just spits it out.

So is it either the Buildcraft pipes (if so what should I use then, it's a simple setup. Rancher -> Squid ink -> Bioreactor), if not what is the input slot :p?

So you've tried top and bottom, but not the sides?
If i remember correct, bioreactor takes nature mats and turns them into biofuel, in this case, you should be able to input from any side the mats and output the liquid any side.
I know if you input via a AE/ME system it definitely works.
