But seriously tho, I am now trying to make the demon portal, and the only thing I did for about an hour, is just making blood runes, and I'm only half way.

Automating the blood altar is extremely important after the beginning. Once that's done you can basically insert stone and walk away. After that it's a matter of using all the items however you wish. Even better if you can automate the alchemy as completing the ritual to open up the demon portal manually is quite boring.

It depends how simple or complex you want. Simple with a really good sacrifice setup, which I would assume you have if you are thinking of opening up the demon portal is to place a hopper on top of the blood altar or on the sides pointed into the blood altar and a hopper on the bottom of the altar. place the slates you want to automate in the bottom hopper, all 5 slots. put as many stone as you want to turn into slates into the top hopper and the altar let it work it's magic, the bottom hopper can only pull out what it has room for so it can only pull out the slates you gave it. This setup however breaks with speed runes so it's slow. You can replace the top hopper with a chest and connect a transfer node with hyper-rationing pipe to the blood altar to only put 1 stone in at a time to the blood altar. The setup won't break with speed runes. Could get even more complicated and switch the hopper on the bottom to a fancy system set to pull out only when X slates aren't available. Sadly none of my worlds exist where that's easy to show. DW20 made a nice system using logistics pipes in his expert skyblock mode, it's actually pretty easy but LP isn't available in a lot of packs.

It's nice because it uses rather common mods, AE2 to provide the items, TE's item conduits and botania if I remember right. Though I believe the botania part could be made optional. It's split into a 3 part video so it's not simple but automating blood magic alchemy is pretty rough.
