Just had this line of thought from the what's new in modded minecraft today? thread and thought it would be good to split it out to a new thread.
Its sad that i can't be hyped for any MC update because they just add more OP stuff and stupid crap.
I think:
is fairly good. Don't you?
- Performance increases
- New skin system
- Support for changing names
Last thing i say about this before going offtopic:
Cool and all, But well. How about the game itself instead of things asked for 1+ year?
Now, what if, instead of command blocks, there was code to detect something (just like command blocks) and then execute commands based on that. If command block redstone creations could be turned into callable code to work on any random map. You might be able to call the code a 'plugin'.The changes are cool with me. Most of them are basically for adventure map changes. As a player of vanilla adventure maps and not just modded MC, these things make me extremely excited because there are now a wide range of things you can now do with command blocks, etc. that will make such maps now very, very cool. For a taste of such an adventure map, you should try out Hypixel's Herobrine's Return map. Yes, it is vanilla, but it is very awesome. Trust me.
