Summary of the problem disappearing laser relays

Pack Version 1.1.4

What is the bug? when using version 1.0.0 of the pack I had no problems. when I updated, I tried to move my sorting system. When I place item laser relays on plain blocks (like stone) they show up no problem. When I place an item laser relay on a chest, it disappears. not invisible, just not there. when I open my inventory it reappears in my inventory, but it is unusable.

Wearing a backpack from ironbackpacks produced this problem for me. Putting the backpack in my inventory did not.
