Hey. I currently help in managing a server. Two others as well as myself are ops on the server. And we recently found out that safes don't actually keep ops out.

I'm wondering if there's a way to disable that? I looked around in config files and didn't see anything I thought was it. We'd like to have safes with the functionality of keeping everyone out like they usually do.

It's not really a problem, but if there is a solution it'd be nice to know. Also, if anyone knows or has worked with a permissions system that works well, it'd be nice to know about. Currently all 3 of us are ops for lack of a better option, when really only 1 of us needs to be. So if there's some sort of permissions to make it so that some of us are just moderators with access to some features, such as whitelisting people, or other things like that, that'd be nice. I realize there might not be a way to disable Ops access to safes, in which case deopping everyone and giving us selective permissions for only what we need would fix that, as well as the benefit of permissions too.

I've heard about things like MCPC+ and BukkitForge but I'm just curious if anyone reading this has worked with the specific things I want (permissions) and how well it went.

Also the server's running the latest Mindcrack pack, which is Minecraft 1.4.7 if it makes a difference in what's available.

Thanks!

Look into Group Manager or zPermissions or bPermissions.. avoid PEX.. and I'm loving MCPC+ so far..

I'm personally using Group Manager. I was using bPermissions before but it's not compatible with the Enjin Minecraft Plugin so I had to switch off. I'd recommend bPermissions though as it makes a lot more sense to me. Group Manager adds another layer on it's config that seems silly to me.
