Disabling mods?

Hi. I run a small private FTB DW20 server for me and a few friends and dont want them using really lag intensive mods. to disable them do i just delete them from the mod folder or is there a config file or something?

Yes, just remove the mods from the mods folder, and your clients will most likely want to do the same so the stuff is not still in NEI cluttering it. Leave the configs so you simply need to drop the mods back in should you want to re add them.
