After playing FTB Ultimate for several days with no problems at all I decided to disable XYCraft (I just don't like the tons of pointless/useless ore it adds to the game) and created a brand new world. Now I get lockups, crashes, and a few outright Windows BSOD's.

I assume this is due to something that is trying to be compatible with XYCraft (Mine Factory Reloaded maybe judging by the log files?) but I don't want to disable MFR completely. Is there any way to only disable the XYCraft compatibility part of MFR?

Log file from my last crash is attached.

You'd have to open up the MineFactory Reloaded ZIP and rip out the unnecessary parts of the mod manually.

It causing BSODs though is more indicative of something being seriously wrong with your computer than anything else because there's no way that Java should ever be able to crash Windows. O__o

Thanks for the response :)
I've re-enabled XYCraft and so far have been playing with no problems. I can pretty much reproduce the issues on demand by enabling and disabling XYCraft in the Ultimate pack. If it were my computer I wouldn't think I'd only see the issue if XYCraft is disabled.

XYCraft on = play for hours and hours
XYCraft off = crashing, lockups, BSOD (not the Minecraft BSOD, I mean the old-fashioned Windows "BAM! YOU ARE DONE!" BSOD :D)

I guess I can live with all the useless ores if I have to. I just hate having them fill up my output chests and then having to throw them away. Hmmm I guess I could set up some kind of automated process to get rid of them. I'm not fond of they way they look either though. They clash harshly with the surrounding stone and are generally unpleasant to look at :(
