Disable crafting of turtles?

How would i disable crafting of turtles?

I want to disable crafting of them then only give them out to trusted people that way the turtles cant dig through worldguard protected regions.

I looked around but couldnt find anything relating to this.

Reciperemover still works for me so.

this is old. fixed a long time ago turtle can't enter protection. so no more need to ban it. also FE item ban works now

Lol boy you are way wrong cause no i got griefed on my server recently by 35 turtles. They can obviously still grief.

and how do you know what i use for protection ?

If you use MyTown for protection, they cant pass into the area if you set it up correctly.
